Call Your Senate is independently owned and operated by founder and publisher Rick Hodges Jr. It is not owned by or affiliated with a government agency, political party, candidate, campaign, political action committee or lobbying organization.

How CYS is currently supported

Call Your Senate currently accepts voluntary reader contributions through Givebutter. The site also relies on resources provided by its owner for publishing, technology and operations.

CYS does not claim a revenue source unless it is active. If advertising, sponsorships, merchandise, grants, licensing or formal partnerships become material sources of support, this page will be updated.

Editorial firewall

Financial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions. Contributions do not purchase favorable coverage, prevent scrutiny or influence which candidates, parties, legislation or public institutions CYS covers.

Sponsored material and partnerships

Any paid sponsorship, advertising or partner-produced material will be labeled so readers can distinguish it from independent reporting. Relevant financial relationships will be disclosed with coverage when necessary to understand a potential conflict.
