Publishing permissions
Permission is required
Full republication, commercial reuse, newsletter reproduction, database inclusion and ongoing syndication require written permission from CYS. Linking to an article and quoting brief portions for commentary or reporting may be permitted by applicable law and does not require CYS to grant a license.
Standard expectations when permission is granted
- Credit Call Your Senate prominently and identify the original author when listed.
- Link to the original CYS article using the exact canonical URL provided.
- Do not materially alter the meaning, context or conclusions.
- Do not imply that CYS endorses the republishing organization or its views.
- Do not place the reporting behind a misleading headline.
- Clearly note any edits approved by CYS.
Headlines and excerpts
A headline may be shortened for space only if it remains accurate and does not exaggerate the reporting. Excerpts must preserve context.
Images, graphics and third-party material
Permission to republish an article does not automatically include photographs, graphics, video, data or third-party material. Separate rights may apply, and the requesting publisher is responsible for confirming image and media permissions.
Request permission
Email in**@************te.com with the article URL, the name of the publication, intended use, platform, expected publication date and whether the use is commercial. No permission is granted until CYS responds in writing.
